DIPLOMA IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT

This course introduces students to basic web design using HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). The course does not require any prior knowledge of HTML or web design. Throughout the course students are introduced to planning and designing effective web pages; implementing web pages by writing HTML and CSS code; enhancing web pages with the use of page layout techniques, text formatting, graphics, images, and multimedia; and producing a functional, multi-page website.

This course provides an introduction to programming by using Visual Basic. The emphasis of the course will be on the problem solving and development of programs. It covers fundamentals of problem solving, basic programming, control statements and procedures.

This course introduces the concepts of operating system, principles of PC and network operating systems. It covers the functions and characteristics of operating systems, process management, storage management, security and protection. System configuration using both command-oriented and GUI system. Emphasis on Linux and Windows.

Multimedia is one of the most fascinating and fastest growing areas in the field of information technology. Text, pictures, animation, movies and sound - all these varied media are seamlessly blended, resulting in simple slide shows to dazzling, interactive presentations. Before the advent of computers, multimedia projects were difficult to put together. Computers enable to combine the media and can be stored for reuse. Multimedia is widely used in entertainment and education.

 This course is designed to familiarize students with discrete mathematics. It will discuss the set theory, operation, logic, mathematical order, matrices, relation and graph. These learning contents are essential in fulfilling the logical thinking required in the field of Information Technology.

This course cover on the basic management and the students will be introduced the introduction of management and the importance to the business environment. This also will be taught building the customer satisfaction through tools mechanisms that have been learnt in this course and preparation of planning.
