The outcome of this CU is to ensure an Industrial Automation Systems Design is produced to meet the design specification requirements, within standard tolerances, neat, concise and precise in accordance with Product Specifications.

The outcome of this competency is to ensure maintenance resources and activities are identified and scheduled in accordance with the requirement from the machine maintenance manuals and to ensure maintenance execution is assessed and adjusted to accommodate to arising problems in accordance with organizational key performance indicators.
